This is our exclusive community for hospitality marketers, partners and freelancers.
You can find over 800 of us in a WhatsApp community, started way back in 2000 by Victoria Searl, founder of DataHawks. The original premise was somewhere to have a good cry about lockdown and all that was happening to our beloved sector - it grew and grew into a hospitality marketing machine.
Brands who were competitors became friends, sharing learnings, connecting and helping each other.
In March of 2025, Vic handed over the mantle to Glenda Barber who continues to welcome new members into the chat. In October 2025, Glenda held the community’s first event, exclusively for Team Marketing members. They connected over menus, digital marketing, building brands, consuming drinks and some good food at Market Halls on Oxford Street, leaving with just one question… “when is the next one?”
